(no subject)

wanting to get this thing up and running agin. i really miss having somewhere to write and process. new job has me working onthe quiet floor about an hour every day and i'd like to make myself use some of that time for more personal writing.

today's hour is almost up so here! have a quick list.

things that have happened since the last time i updated this thing:

• i have a kid now????? wtf. he's three! he's a big kid and will correct you if you call him "baby"! he's mostly a delight except for when he's kind of a jerk! i'll call him b on here, mostly.
  
• i'm in a fandom again? WRITING FIC AGAIN? what the fuck. tamsyn muir got me with her religious trauma necromancer lesbians.
  
• i'm in grad school and working part-time at the library. b is in school full-time now and i've been surprisingly chill about that. every so often the idea of "why have kids if you don't want to spend time with them and are just going to let other people raise them????" idea flies through my head (being raised borderline quiverfull, i heard that idea repeated A LOT) but i've been able to tamp i down and assure myself that it's fine i'm a good mom every time that happens. but. it still nags at me occasionally.
